Land Manager Job in Whiteley, Hampshire

New requirement for a Land Manager job in Whiteley, Hampshire, with a privately owned reputable housebuilder with sites across the region, West Sussex, and Wiltshire. Offering a salary of up to £70,000 plus car allowance and benefits.

Currently seeking a Land Manager or Land Buyer to join our client's office in Whiteley, Hampshire. The team of 75+ cover developments across the South with a primary focus in Hampshire. This role will see you establish relationships and negotiating with clients to secure the acquisition of land for bespoke developments through to large-scale schemes of over 1,000 units.

Role & Responsibilities

Identify potential land opportunities for a variety of residential developments
Initial site feasibility studies and development appraisal, feeding back to the department director
Attend site viewings and client/third party meetings
Conduct research from a variety of sources such as online databases, local government websites and industry connections
Negotiation on legal paperwork and documentation related to land purchases.Required Skills & Experience

2+ years in a similar role as a Land Buyer or Land Manager
Proven experience identifying and purchasing land for the house building industry
Strong negotiation and influencing skills
Experience with the legal and contractual aspects of land acquisition
Full UK Driving licence and access to own vehicle.What you get back

Salary ranging between £50,000 - £70,000 DOE
Car allowance of £3,000 - £5,000 depending on management level
Up to 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays
Christmas shutdown (allocation from annual leave)
Office hours of 9am - 5pm
