HLTA - Blackpool:

Prospero Teaching are looking for an experienced HLTA to join one of our excellent schools near to Blackpool. You will need a good understanding of the general curriculum and be able to lead the class while the teacher is on PPA.

The Role:

Working with teachers to deliver lessons and activities across a range of subjects
Providing support to children both 1-1 and in smaller groups
Assisting in maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment
Communicating regularly with the class teacher to monitor progressPosition Details:

Position: HLTA
Location: Blackpool
Type of Work: Temporary
Full time/Part time: Full time only
Hours: 8:45am-3:45pm
Minimum Rate of Pay: £125 per day, depending on experience
Start date: After Feb half-term
End date: OngoingExperience, Training & Qualifications:

Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
Level 4 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is essential
Excellent knowledge of the curriculum in both core and foundation subjects
Previous experience leading lessons for small groupsTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold right to work in the UK
Hold and enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references OTHER
