Goods In Operative

Start: ASAP.

Hours: Monday & Tuesday: 08:30-16:30, Wednesday & Thursday: 08:00-16:30 & Friday's: 08:00-16:00.

Pay: £11.50-£12.50 p/h- dependent on experience.

Location: Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham.

Due to an increase in demand our client who specialises in imports/exports are looking for a Goods in Operative to join their team, this will be on a 12-week temporary-permanent arrangement.

FLT Counterbalance license desirable but not essential and over time during month end will be required.

Pre-employment checks are required.

Main responsibilities:

• Unloading & booking in incoming deliveries.
• Remove packaging from the pallets.
• Releasing stock onto the system to be located.
• Process delivery paperwork and upload onto the system.
• Quality checking the goods coming in.
• Investigate delivery discrepancies (missing, damaged & incorrect stock).
• Liaise with suppliers to resolve any delivery issues.
• Handover the delivery to the inspection team.
• Answer telephone calls, take messages and divert calls to the correct department.
• Support the warehouse team with additional duties.
• Attention to detail and data entry accuracy is essential.
