Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel encouraged to participate and achieve.

Act as a form tutor, supporting the academic, social, and emotional development of a specific group of students.

Monitor student attendance, behaviour, and wellbeing, intervening when necessary to ensure students thrive.

Build strong relationships with students, parents, and carers to support student welfare and progress.

Contribute to the school’s pastoral programme, delivering activities and sessions that promote resilience, emotional intelligence, and positive behaviour.

Liaise with colleagues and external agencies to provide targeted support for students with additional needs.

Participate in departmental and whole-school meetings, contributing to school improvement initiatives.

Support extracurricular activities, including after-school sports clubs, competitions, and events.

Actively engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching and pastoral skills.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.

A degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related subject.

Evidence of recent professional development in teaching and/or pastoral care.
