This is a unique opportunity to join a company whose products are held in high regard at an exciting stage in their development in the UK construction sector.

Our client is seeking a dynamic individual to join their sales team because of an increase in demand for their products. If you have experience in developing relationships with Merchants, Groundworkers, House Builders and Contractors this role is for you.

The Role

The Regional Sales Executive focuses on securing orders for products by meeting and influencing targeted customer groups that include Builders Merchants and specialised Stockists.

Key Responsibilities of the role

  • Effectively manage and develop sales through the stockists and merchants allocated within the territory;
  • Promote sales by effective customer service and generally raise awareness of the Company and its products throughout the sales territory
  • Achieve budgets and targets in conjunction with the sales team
  • Promote, monitor and maintain excellent customer service by providing merchandising and sales development support;
  • Give advice to stockists and merchants on product displays & positioning
  • Deal with the public customers within the retail sales area in a professional manner at all times.
  • Ensure all customer requirements are followed up, maximising sales as far as possible while strictly adhering to dispatch and administration procedures at all times
  • Maintain an up to date industrial and commercial knowledge of competitors, products and prices
  • Deal promptly and professionally with customer complaints
  • Work with the Stockist Business Development Manager to target non-stocking customers (including NBG, IBC, H&B, CBA group members, independents and specialist merchants)
  • Develop Landscaper / customer targets with the merchant stockists.
  • Co-operate with other members of staff and management in a pleasant and professional manner.
  • Work in association with other team members in the area and GB Sales team to assist in generating and securing further sales where possible
