Assistant Site Manager - Yeovil

Sphere Solutions are working with a large and successful house builder to recruit an experienced Assistant Site Manager to join an existing site in Yeovil.

You will join a busy development, reporting to the Senior Management team and support with the daily supervision of the onsite workforce.

The role will include:

* Assist with the management of a construction site, focusing on budget, specification, programme and quality.

* Ensure all quality and safety inspections are within quality control standards.

* Staff inductions, timesheets, incident reports, quality control checklists.

* Materials are called off in a timely manner and checked and stored.

* Assist the Site Manager to supervise activity of the workforce, including all subcontractors, to ensure works are completed on time, to the desired quality standards and within budget

Suitable candidates:

* Experience within the house building industry is essential, within an Assistant Site Management role

* Understanding of the NHBC or /LABC/Premier standards

* Understanding of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation

* CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid at Work

* Full UK Driving Licence is required

* Qualified to minimum NVQ Level 4 in Construction Site Supervision is desirable

* Salary £45,000-£50,000 depending on experience
