Senior Administrator – Tendering Support

Location: WakefieldSalary: £25,000 - £30,000Full-time, permanentHybrid working

Are you an experienced administrator with a keen eye for detail and excellent organisational skills? I am recruiting on behalf of a well-established engineering company in Wakefield for a Senior Administrator to support the tendering process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as the primary contact for bids, proposals, and customer relationships
  • Prepare and submit pre-qualification documents within strict deadlines
  • Register, distribute, and manage tender documentation
  • Oversee project management tasks related to the tendering process
  • Attend tender submission meetings, recording detailed minutes
  • Request and coordinate quotes from subcontractors
  • Provide marketing support, including event coordination and social media updates
What We’re Looking For:
  • Strong administrative background, ideally within engineering or construction
  • Experience handling bids, tenders, or procurement processes
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines efficiently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and document control systems
