Are you a talented and experienced Urban Designer with a passion for shaping the cities of the future? Do you have a strong portfolio of designing sustainable, functional, and vibrant urban spaces? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you!

We are currently representing a leading consultancy firm looking to expand their team with a Senior Urban Designer in London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a deep understanding of urban design principles and the ability to take projects from concept through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead urban design projects across a variety of sectors including residential, mixed-use, and public realm.
Work closely with stakeholders to develop design strategies that address complex urban challenges.
Deliver high-quality design solutions that contribute to creating sustainable and vibrant environments.
Manage and mentor a team of junior designers, providing guidance and support on design development.
Prepare and present design proposals to clients, planning authorities, and other stakeholders.
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, engineers, and environmental specialists.Key Requirements:

A degree in Urban Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
Extensive experience (5+ years) working in urban design, with a proven track record in delivering successful projects.
Strong design and visualisation skills, with experience using software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, or similar.
A good understanding of planning policy and regulations in the UK.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage with both clients and stakeholders.
A collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solving and design development.
Experience managing and mentoring junior staff is advantageous.Benefits:
