About the Role
We are looking for a versatile and highly organised Office Administrator to support our Finance and Contracts teams with a range of reception, administrative, and compliance duties. Key Responsibilities
Reception & Office Management
- Answer and direct telephone calls, taking messages when required.
- Welcome visitors, ensuring a professional first impression.
- Maintain office supplies, including stationery and kitchen essentials.
- Manage the photocopier and liaise with maintenance for servicing.
Contracts & Health & Safety Administration
- Assist with method statements, O&M manuals, and H&S documentation.
- Ensure all subcontractors are compliant with training, insurance, and certifications (SMSTS, CSCS, etc.).
- Track and complete H&S assessments, including CHAS & Constructionline compliance.
- Book training sessions and secure funding from CITB.
- Conduct weekly fire alarm checks and maintain H&S compliance records.
Finance & Warehouse Support
- Maintain the holiday calendar and record weekly timesheets.
- Input delivery notes into Cost of Sales.
- Support the Warehouse Manager with stock ordering.
- Arrange equipment checks and servicing.
- Assist the Finance Department with general administrative tasks, filing, and archiving.
What We’re Looking For
? Previous administrative experience in a busy office environment.? Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.? Confident in using Microsoft Word & Excel.? Excellent written and verbal communication skills.? Ability to multi-task and prioritise workloads effectively.? A positive ‘can-do’ attitude and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Essential Qualifications:
GCSE Maths & English (Grade C or above).
