Maintenance Electrician

Location: Surrey, Berks, Oxfordshire, Bucks, Northants areas.- Full UK driving license essential - Van provided

Salary: up to £45,000 per annum plus overtime

Maintenance Electrician - TXM are currently looking for a Maintenance Electrician to work on multiple commercial contracts covering Surrey, Berks, Oxfordshire, Bucks, Northants etc. The starting salary for this Maintenance Electrician role is up to £45,000 with overtime available. The working hours for this role is Monday to Friday, 7:30 - 15:30.

Maintenance Electrician duties include -

* Isolate defective equipment from power supply and take corrective action to repair the problem

* Check visually for faults and test mechanical parts for faults

* Conduct preventative maintenance on machines and equipment and replacing worn and defective parts where necessary.

* Multi-skilled background with a good understanding of steam generation & HVAC systems. A good understanding of High Voltage systems would also be an advantage.

* Installing electrical systems and associated equipment followed up with the appropriate certification

Maintenance Electrician Qualifications and Experience -

* Qualified to City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 & 2 or equivalent NVQ & C&G 2382 -10 17th Edition Minimum requirements

* C&G #removed# Inspection & Testing, & C&G #removed# Design & Verification preferred but not required

* Experience of installation, testing and maintenance of LV distribution systems

* Experience of standby power systems including prime movers and UPS
