Are you passionate about helping others and thrive on creating amazing experiences? We're on the hunt for a dynamic and empathetic Relocation & Onboarding Specialist to join our vibrant Talent Acquisition team at our Manchester studio. This dual aspect role is primarily people & relocation focused. It is integral to our TA process as you will be assisting candidates from the offer stage, all the way up until their first day at CIG and beyond. You'll be there every step of the way, helping them not just move to a new area, but truly flourish there.

This crucial and extremely rewarding position requires a great degree of autonomy, empathy, time management and an innate ability to find creative solutions to nuanced and personal problems. You will be providing an all-encompassing, tailored relocation & onboarding experience to our new starters, ensuring they feel fully supported throughout their transition to our new state of the art studio in Manchester, UK.

What is our Relocation & Onboarding Specialist responsible for?

  • Providing relocation support for all current employees and new starter. Encompassing but not limited to: Arranging temporary accommodation, process guidance (TOR1, pet relocation, bank account & UK phone number setup), permanent accommodation sourcing & applications, moving assistance, etc)
  • Shaping the relocation and onboarding process with a 'better than before' mindset. You won't know every answer, but you should know how to find them
  • Keeping a finger on the pulse of the socio-economic climate in the UK, compliance and law changes that would affect the way relocation is conducted
  • Being the first port of call for new starters on their first day and beyond to provide: studio tours, first day merch, first day inductions, arranging of onboarding themed events and offering any additional support needed
  • Helping to manage the in-house corporate accommodation (ensuring enough vacancy for people relocating, booking them in, arranging key handovers, providing tours and information, etc)
  • Complete any ad hoc administrative tasks required to facilitate processes (relocation allowance deductions, tracking, etc)

What do we look for?

  • Experience in relocation and a customer support type role. HR/Recruitment background with onboarding experience would be a bonus.
  • A great local knowledge of Manchester and the surrounding areas (though a willingness to learn is also welcome)
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple responsibilities and projects whilst staying organised
  • An excellent communicator and conversationalist, comfortable with talking to strangers and colleagues from all walks of life, backgrounds, cultures and seniority
  • An empathetic and solution-oriented approach that seeks a productive outcome for all involved
  • A growth mindset that isn't afraid to make mistakes, iterate and improve
