Field Service Engineer - Floor Cleaning Equipment
A professional independent provider of industrial cleaning machines has an opportunity for a Service Engineer to join their current team.
As a Field Service Engineer your role revolves around providing expert repair and maintenance services to ensure the optimal performance and longevity of various machines. Responsible for diagnosing, servicing and repairing a diverse range of equipment, ensuring service and repairs are completed within agreed Service Level Agreements to achieve customer satisfaction.
Description of Duties
• Carry out servicing and repair of all industrial cleaning equipment ranging from scrubber dryers, road sweepers, vacuums and pressure washers
• Completion and submission of accurate documentation as required.
• Attend and complete scheduled planned maintenance service as instructed.
• Compliance and adherence to laws and regulations covering Health and Safety within the workplace.
• Satisfaction of customer requirements.
Essential Skills
• Experience in working with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical equipment, preferably Industrial cleaning equipment
• To have good working knowledge and experience of activities in a field service environment
• Customer Focussed mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service and exceeding customer expectations.
• Ability to work under own initiative.
• Proficient IT skills, including operating hand held tablet devices.
• Strong physical condition with the capability to perfom manual handling duties such as lifting heavy industrial battery packs.
Equipment Provided: Fully equipped company vehicle, mobile phone, PDA Work Wear and PPE.
