Venn Group have partnered with a well known Media business on their search for a new Client Accountant. This is an interim opportunity with a strong chance of going permanent.

The role is based in Central London and will operate on a hybrid structure (2/3 days per week on-site).

The successful candidate will be immediately available and will have pre-existing experience in the Finance function of a media company.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the financial management of client accounts, ensuring accurate invoicing and reconciliations
• Prepare and review client financial reports, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
• Manage revenue recognition, WIP, and aged debt, working closely with the commercial finance team
• Act as a key point of contact for client queries, resolving financial discrepancies efficiently
• Support month-end and year-end processes, ensuring financial data integrity
• Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to optimise financial processes

• Proven experience in Finance within media, advertising, or creative industries
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, revenue recognition and reconciliations
• Proficiency in finance systems and MS Excel
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise confidently with clients and internal teams.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach with great attention to detail.
