Location: West Thurrock, Essex (RM191NR)
Salary:£12 - £13 per hour depending on experience
Job Type: Part Time, 12 Months Maternity Cover
Hours: Monday - Friday, 25 hours per week (office based 5 hours per day)
Possibility of 15 hours per week permanent position after this period.
Office / Accounts Administrator- The Role:
As a result of vacancy due to maternity, Gavin Martin Colournet, a leading UK based printers, requires a part- time Office / Accounts Administrator for immediate start. Working at their Head Office based in West Thurrock, Essex, the successful applicant will carry out general office and accounts tasks.
Office / Accounts Administrator- Key Responsibilities:
- Basic Administrative duties including emails, post, scanning & filing documents
- Numerical data entry and basic level invoicing
- Office orders
- Responsible for annual leave / sickness calendar entry
- Assisting with answering phones / taking messages / greeting visitors
- Other adhoc administrative duties
- Full training will be given for in house computer systems including Tharstern and SAGE Accounts
Office / Accounts Administrator- The Candidate:
- The ideal candidate must be reliable
- An excellent communicator, both verbal and written
- Someone who has a great eye for detail, is highly organised with their approach and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- You should be able to work under pressure with the ability to prioritise workloads and multi task
- Confident and polite telephone manner with an excellent command of the English Language
- Good interpersonal skills to be able to deal with people at all levels
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Previous experience in a similar role relating to reception, admin or accounts is essential
- Competent user of Microsoft packages, experience using SAGE Accounts desirable but not essential
- Access to own transport as the premises is a distance from train / bus connections
