Seeking an experienced civil design engineer for a reputable, independent Northwest 5* house-builder. Our client's passion is to create beautiful homes in desirable locations, blending cool places with open spaces

This is a key role within the small technical team, working closely with the land and technical team and collaborating with other departments. Reporting to the Technical Manager, the successful candidate will:

* Prepare civil design concepts for site feasibilities, including ground modeling if required.

* Create technically complete civil design packages for new developments.

* Utilise design software for highways, drainage, and earthworks.

* Obtain full S278/S38/S104/S185 technical approvals with highway water authorities and LLFA.

* Assist the Architectural Manager with design information for planning and building regulations submission and discharge.

* Maintain a close working relationship with the Development Engineer on new and live schemes.

* Liaise with Structural Engineers on schemes involving structural elements such as culverts, bridges, and highway retaining structures.

* Address commercial sales and site queries related to design elements, attending sites to ensure design compliance.

* Coordinate with external consultants.

Qualifications

* Formal engineering qualifications( HNC, HND, Degree) and hands-on experience in civil design

* Proficiency in civil design software.

* Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and value engineering principles.

* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments.
