Our client is looking for an Assistant Contract Surveyor to join their Commercial Team on a multi-phased private development, delivering 350 homes (predominantly housing with some low-rise apartments, traditional build). This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills while working on high-quality residential projects.

What You'll Be Doing:

* Assisting in cash flow management, cost control & financial reporting

* Supporting procurement by preparing subcontractor orders & ensuring budget alignment

* Collaborating with production & technical teams to manage risks & opportunities

* Contributing to subcontractor account management, including valuations & payments

* Producing cost valuations, financial reports & supporting final accounts preparation

* Assisting in value engineering processes to identify cost-saving opportunities

What You Need:

* Degree-qualified or working towards a qualification in a relevant field

* Strong understanding of cost control, procurement & construction processes

* Knowledge of ISO9001 Quality Management Systems & Health & Safety practices

* Main contractor experience preferred

* Excellent communication & organisational skills with a proactive mindset
