Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Mechanical Estimator to prepare accurate and competitive estimates for mechanical projects, including HVAC, plumbing, and other mechanical systems. This role requires a deep understanding of project requirements, cost analysis, and collaboration with stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

* Project Analysis: Review blueprints, specifications, and project documents to determine mechanical requirements.

* Cost Estimation: Calculate material, equipment, and labor costs for mechanical installations.

* Supplier Coordination: Obtain and assess quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and compliance.

* Risk Assessment: Identify potential financial and operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.

* Proposal Development: Create detailed, competitive bids and proposals aligned with client needs.

* Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to align estimates with project goals and budgets.

* Industry Awareness: Stay updated on market trends, materials, and costs for accurate estimates.

Qualifications:

* Experience: Minimum 3 years of mechanical estimating experience within construction or M&E sectors.

* Technical Skills: Proficiency in estimating software and a strong understanding of mechanical systems.

* Education: A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred.

* Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to negotiate and collaborate effectively.

* Analytical Abilities: High attention to detail, strong numerical skills, and the ability to problem-solve.

* Organization: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently.
