Cover Supervisor

A high achieving secondary school in Ealing are looking to secure a long term Cover Supervisor to start asap on an ongoing assignment.

Cover Supervisor

The school are looking to secure a long-term Cover Supervisor who can commit to five days per week on a long-term basis. The role is to cover all absent needs at the school and therefore the successful candidate will need to be happy teaching all subjects.

The role of a Cover Supervisor

Supervising the cover work set by the absent teacher
Ensuring the children have the required resources and knowledge to complete the work set by the teacher
Managing the behaviour of pupils during the lesson to ensure all work is completed to a high standard
Dealing with any immediate problems or emergencies
Collecting completed work after lesson and returning it to the appropriate teacher/department.What experience do you need to apply for the Cover Supervisor position:

Experience of working within a school setting (ideally Secondary)
Bachelors Degree/Equivalent (desired)
An up-to-date DBS, ideally registered with the update service
