Reed HR are seeking an HR Administrator to join our client for a full-time temporary position initially until December 2024. The successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for staff queries and will be responsible for a variety of HR functions, including onboarding, data management, and supporting the HR Business Partner (HRBP).
Day-to-day of the role:
• Act as the first point of contact for staff queries related to HR policies, processes, compensation, benefits, and wellness, escalating complex issues to the HRBP.
• Oversee and issue employment contracts, amendment letters, and ad-hoc salary and bonus letters.
• Collaborate with the UK-based HR team to coordinate HR functions and activities, troubleshoot issues, and develop HR workflows.
• Process invoices for vendors and manage vendor relationships.
• Establish and maintain strong working relationships within the organisation.
• Facilitate new hire onboarding and orientation, including paperwork, employment references, and right-to-work checks.
• Coordinate with employees and the operations team for end-of-employment processes, including resignations, leave entitlements, and exit interviews.
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all people data by updating and maintaining files, systems, and trackers.
• Act as an HR systems administrator, managing user access, data flows, and liaising with system providers.
• Support the HRBP with meeting facilitation and notetaking.
• Maintain and expand HR knowledge by engaging with professional networks and participating in professional development opportunities.
• Develop and facilitate HR-related presentations or communications to inform staff of HR policy and practice developments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience in HR administration or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of HR policies and best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
