Software Engineer** (Contract)

Duration: 6 Months (Possibility for extension)

Location: Hybrid/Edinburgh/Leeds/Manchester (2 days per week on site)

Rate: A highly competitive Umbrella Day Rate or salary is available for suitable candidates

About this opportunity

We're seeking a software engineer with exposure to Networking services i.e. F5. The core role sits within the F5 Delivery team that incorporates Study capability that will be the core of your development and deliveries. You should be able to rapidly assimilate domain knowledge and apply this in a sophisticated technical environment. You can confidently work alone but can collaborate productively.

Role Requirements and Skills & Experience:

Collaborate with our team to design, develop, test, and maintain software systems.
Utilise your expertise in F5 Big-IP & TMOS, Jenkins, Harness, or similar technologies to enhance our network infrastructure.
Build and deploy technologies for both private and public cloud environments, ensuring seamless integrations.
Contribute to the development of Enterprise applications that will support our banking operations.
A proven track record as a Software Engineer with experience in network infrastructure.
Proficiency in Python and enterprise integrations.
Familiarity with AppviewX ADC+ and AS3.
Strong understanding of network technologies, protocols, and security.
Demonstrable experience in building and deploying technologies for private and public cloud environments.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
