Salary: £20/hour lots of hours available + contract extensions

Panel Wirer / Electrical Fitter - Based in Peterborough

£20 per hour, (50-70 hours available per week)

Ltd Company Contract - Outside IR35

75% of role based in the factory assembling panels

25% of role based on site installing the panels

All accommodation and travel paid whilst working on site.

3-month contract - immediate start available

This  company is currently going through a rapid growth phase and is looking to increase their manufacturing capability. Having won numerous projects with major companies, this business is now looking to add several Panel Wirers to ensure that projects are delivered on time and to budget. Excellent training and development is offered, and they are looking for individuals with excellent practical hands-on skills.

The role of a Panel Wirer will involve:

Fitting of electrical components in accordance with engineering drawings.
Assembling a wide variety of electrical control panels - components would include PLC's, invertors, sensors, relays, busbars, breakers, drives and invertors.
Installation and testing of electrical panels and cable assemblies.
Utilising 5S to ensure that you are working in a clean & tidy environment.
Follow and complete all production documentation.
Working as part of an excellent, high performing team.
Commissioning of machines, and factory and site acceptance.
Adhere to the company's standards and produce high quality work.
Using hand tools and some power tools to assemble the equipment.
The role of a Panel Wirer will possess the following skills:

An understanding of Electrical Assembly and Panel Building, this could be in any role or environment

Wiring and building of panels from scratch

Capable of understanding and interpreting schematics and technical drawings
A practical qualification
Be able to use hand tools e.g., Screwdrivers, pliers, clamps crimpers and allen keys
Hardworking, reliable, enthusiastic
Desire and ability to learn
Good communication skills
