We are seeking a motivated and skilled PPA Teacher to work in a diverse and vibrant school in Camden. This full-time position involves KS2 interventions in the mornings and PPA cover across EYFS to KS2 in the afternoons. Starting after October half term.

Key Responsibilities:

Morning - KS2 Interventions:

• Work with a target group of children to provide focused interventions.
• Collaborate with class teachers by reviewing planning and resources.
• Develop and create additional resources tailored to the specific needs of the children in the group.
• Conduct interventions both within the classroom or outside as necessary.

Afternoon - PPA Cover:

• Provide PPA cover across EYFS to KS2.
• Teach various subjects, including Music, Computing, and French, using established schemes of work.
• Adapt lesson plans where necessary to meet the needs of the children and ensure engaging lessons.
• Maintain a supportive and creative classroom environment.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience working within KS2 and across EYFS to KS2.
• Strong ability to adapt lessons and provide additional learning support where needed.
• Familiarity with delivering interventions to small groups of children.
• A collaborative team player who can work closely with colleagues and contribute to planning.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
• M3 Pay Scale
