and strategic development of the department, ensuring the quality of provision and teaching and learning secures outstanding results for all students.

Responsibilities

Lead curriculum development in the Faculty
Enhance our school's learning community by contributing to a positive and effective teaching and learning program
Champion the Academy's ethos and standards as a valued member of our leadership team
Maintain a positive learning environment within the Faculty by upholding high standards of behavior
Ensure that students have access to a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities and activities such as trips, clubs etc

Requirements

Must Hold QTS/QTLS
Have a proven track record of successfully teaching Maths to KS3/KS4 students
Secure knowledge of the National Curriculum
The ability to lead curriculum development and innovation
Right to work in the UK
Must provide 2 proven professional references - this is essential
Possess or willing to obtain a DBS Certificate on the update service
