English Teacher - Dudley Secondary School

• Start date: Monday 1st July 2024
• End date: Tuesday 16th July 2024 (possibility to extend)
• Subject: English at KS3 & KS4
• Timetable: 2 days a week (Monday and Tuesday)

We are working in partnership with an Ofsted 'Good' Secondary school in Dudley who are seeking an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher to start on 1st July until 16th July for cover. To be successful, you will be an English teacher with recent experience teaching across Key Stage 3 and 4.

Job Description

• Delivering engaging and creative English lessons to students in Key Stages 3 and 4.
• Monitoring student progress and providing feedback.
• Contributing to the development of the department's curriculum.

Person Specification

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in English or related field.
• Recent experience teaching English at secondary school level.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff members
