Roofing Supervisor/Foreman

A leading Tier 1 Contractor is seeking an experienced Roofing Supervisor/Foreman to oversee roofing works on a high-profile project in Barbican, London. The role involves managing teams on-site, ensuring top-quality installation of metal pitched roofing, liquid waterproofing systems, and associated works, while maintaining strict health and safety standards and ensuring timely project delivery.

• Supervise and coordinate roofing works, with a focus on metal pitched roofs and liquid waterproofing systems.
• Ensure all work is carried out to the highest standards, meeting building regulations and manufacturer specifications.
• Oversee and support a team of roofers, subcontractors, and site operatives.
• Plan daily tasks, allocate resources effectively, and monitor progress against project timelines.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks to ensure workmanship meets required standards.
• Implement and enforce health and safety regulations, conducting toolbox talks and risk assessments.
• Liaise with project managers, clients, and suppliers to ensure smooth site operations.
• Manage materials, deliveries, and on-site logistics.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently to prevent project delays.

• Proven experience as a Roofing Supervisor/Foreman in construction.
• Extensive knowledge of metal roofing, pitched roofing, and liquid waterproofing systems.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations (CSCS, SMSTS/SSSTS preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
• Strong communication skills to effectively manage teams and liaise with stakeholders.
