The Company
A well established manufacturer of high quality precision aerospace machined components are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector with CMM experience to join their team. The company provide precision parts to a wide range of industries including aerospace and F1 in their modern state of the art machining facility.

The role of a Quality inspector / CMM Operator
As a successful quality inspector, you will be required to inspect precision engineered components.

Duties of a Quality inspector / CMM Operator

* First off inspection and final inspection in a subcontract machining environment

* Using inspection measurement equipment such as Micrometres, Verniers, Gauges

* First article inspection reporting

* CMM Operating - PC-DMIS

Requirements of a Quality inspector / CMM Operator

* CMM - PC-DMIS

* Experience using inspection measurement equipment

* A knowledge of inspection measurement equipment.

* Good understanding of AS9100 and ISO 9001 requirements

* First article inspection reporting

* Root cause analysis and resolution, including rework of parts.

* Ability to work on own initiative and with minimum supervision.

* Good communications and computer literacy.

* Working knowledge of Excel

* Subcontract machining environment experience

Hours of Work - Quality Inspector / CMM Operator
Monday - Thursday 08.00pm - 16.30am
Friday 08.00pm - 12:30pm

Salary - Quality Inspector / CMM Operator
£34,000 - £36,000 Per Year
