Warehouse OperativeThatcham£12.48 per hourNight Shift (18:00-02:00)Gap-personnel are recruiting for day and night shift warehouse operatives for Gist in Thatcham.This position is temporary until the New Year, working full-time hours, five shifts from seven, inclusive of one weekend shift per week, and involved picking food orders for distribution to stores across the southern region.About the Warehouse Operative role:

• Picking food products using a voice pick system via a headset
• Breaking down pallets of products and allocating goods to item locations
• Working in a chilled and ambient working environment
• Achieving pick targets as set out by shift management
• Other duties which may include heavy lifting

The successful Warehouse Operative will:

• Have a good attention to detail
• Be reliable and have a positive work ethic
• Be able to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Be punctual with excellent timekeeping and attendance
• You will ideally have some form of warehouse experience, however this is not essential, as full training will be provided

More about the role:

• Working hours are - Night shift 18:00-02:00
• Night shift pay rates:
• Monday to Friday £12.48 per hour
• Overtime paid after 40 hours per week
• Shift pattern: Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday
• Christmas bonus available, giving you the opportunity to earn up to an extra £800 in December
• Immediate start available
• Start dates every Tuesday until early December
• First three shifts are training shifts:
• Night shift training shifts are 18:00-22:00
• Training shifts are Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
