Prospero Teaching is seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Yardley from February 2025 through to Christmas 2025. This role is open to both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

Key Responsibilities:
· Deliver engaging and effective lessons tailored to Year 1 students
· Create an inclusive, nurturing classroom environment
· Assess and track student progress, providing feedback and support
· Collaborate with colleagues and communicate with parents to support student development

The Ideal Candidate:
· Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
· Passion for teaching and supporting young childrens development
· Strong classroom management skills
· Open to experienced teachers and ECTs

· Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate GBP130 per day
· Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm : Mon - Fri (term time only)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
· QTS or equivalent
· Minimum 1 year Key Stage 1 teaching experience in the UK
· Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
· Hold Right to Work in the UK
· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
· Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
