AR736 - Lift Service Engineer

Location: Durham 

Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 + Vehicle & Overtime

Overview:

First Military Recruitment are currently searching for a Lift Service Engineer on behalf of our client. 

As a Lift Service Engineer, you'll work from home and play a key role in keeping clients' lifts running smoothly. You'll handle servicing and minor repairs, managing your own schedule, while also joining our call-out rota to support clients outside regular hours.

Our client strongly encourage applications from the Ex-Military community, however all applicants will be considered. Training will be provided.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain, fault find and repair various types of lifts and lift equipment
Work in various locations, on your own
Carry out sling LOLER inspections
Skills and Qualifications: 

NVQ3 in Engineering (Ideally in Lift Engineering)
A good mechanical and electrical background backed up with a relevant qualification
Customer focused
Experience with hoist and lift equipment
A full UK driving licence
Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
Excellent time management skills
