Private Clinic Are seeking Occupational Health Nurse to join our exciting and dynamic team.

We are always keen to hear from nurses with previous experience in vaccinations, travel health, occupational health, or practice nursing.

Main responsibilities:

We are seeking an dedicated and experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and maintaining the health and well-being of our employees by providing occupational health services, managing workplace injuries and illnesses, and implementing health and safety programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct pre-employment health screenings, including physical assessments and medical history reviews.
• Provide ongoing health assessments, monitoring, and surveillance of employees to identify and mitigate workplace health hazards.
• Develop and implement health promotion programs to foster a healthy work environment.
• Coordinate and administer immunization programs and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Manage workplace injuries and illnesses, including providing first aid, assessing and treating injuries, and facilitating the return-to-work process.
• Collaborate with management, HR, and other stakeholders to develop and implement policies and procedures related to occupational health and safety.
• Conduct ergonomic assessments and provide recommendations for improving workplace ergonomics.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records and ensure compliance with relevant privacy regulations.
• Participate in workplace health and safety committees and provide expertise and guidance on health-related matters.
• Stay up-to-date on relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in occupational health and safety.

About You:

In addition to your nursing qualification and entitlement to work in the UK:

• Applicants must hold a Diploma in Occupational Health Practice

• Prior clinical experience, in a clinic setting or a vaccination role, is desirable.
• Qualifications and/or an interest in occupational health
• Qualifications and/or an interest in practice nursing
• Excellent communication and English language skills (oral and written).
• Computer literate.
