This role will suit a friendly and professional individual who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys client-facing duties alongside a range of administrative responsibilities.Key Responsibilities:
• Welcoming clients, visitors, and staff to the office
• Managing visitor sign-in procedures and maintaining meeting rooms
• Setting up meeting rooms and providing refreshments as required
• Assisting with meeting room bookings and events preparation
• Answering and directing incoming calls across multiple offices
• Managing incoming and outgoing post and handling deliveries
• Overseeing stationery and supplies for both offices
• Supporting administrative tasks such as binding, laminating, scanning, and photocopying documents
• Managing the Franking machine and coordinating with Royal Mail
• Assisting with file retrievals from off-site storage
• Ensuring the reception area is kept tidy and professional at all times
• Providing general administrative support and assisting with ad hoc projectsRequirements:
• Previous experience in a receptionist or front-of-house role (legal sector experience beneficial but not essential)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Professional telephone manner and strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and diplomacy
• Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise changing workloads
• Positive, service-orientated attitude with a ‘can-do’ approach
• Strong IT skills, including proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel
• Efficiency, reliability, and flexibility
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Initiative and proactive problem-solving skills
