We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Sales Administrator to support our sales team at Wallingford on a 9 month Fixed Term Contract. The Sales Administrator will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the sales department, managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and providing exceptional customer service.

* Daily production of stock queries/stock at risk reports to identify potential shortages

* Notifying customers and NAMs regarding upcoming shortages using above report

* Weekly meetings with production/planning representative regarding bulk curd and sauces SKU's to ensure customer lead times are met

* Order processing for all Valeo Foods brands received via EDI, email and phone using IFS system (cover required from 13:30-17:00)

* Liaising with 3rd party warehouses regarding issues with orders and deliveries.

* Invoicing of products held in and supplied from other warehouses (e.g. Balconi) using IFS system and external customer portals.

* Use of external systems (e.g. warehouse portals and delivery tracking sites) to monitor deliveries and deal with any issues

* Communicate with customers in a timely manner regarding delayed or short deliveries to ensure they get the best possible service

* Assist the Sales Admin Team with all aspects of order management and customer service

Qualifications

* Excellent communication and data entry skills

* Methodical approach to work, high level of attention to detail and problem solving skills

* Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word an advantage.

* Team player

* Ability and confidence to work independently (role likely to include some working from the office and some working remotely)
