Bookkeeper Job Overview

General bookkeeping duties
Preparation and finalisation of VAT returns
Payroll
Preparing and submitting CIS returns
Liaising with clients regarding all aspects of the above
Manage your own workload and all submissions

Suitable candidates will have previous experience in an accountancy practice, including payroll and will be AAT L3 qualified.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience with payroll, bookkeeping, VAT and CIS
Must be competent and confusing using cloud technology
Experience using Xero, Dext, Capium, Sage Payroll

Bookkeeper Salary & Benefits

£28,000-£35,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
4 weeks holiday plus bank holidays
Four day working week - Monday to Thursday (34.5 hours per week)
