A leading designer and manufacturer of electrical and electronic equipment for the HVAC / BMS industry have an immediate requirement for a Project Engineer to join them at their offices in Slough.

Location: Slough SL1 6JT

Salary: Circa £55,000 - £65,000+ (salary fully negotiable) + car allowance, benefits

As Project Engineer you will ideally have experience of the Heating Ventilating and Air conditioning controls market within commercial/ industrial buildings.

Key Skills Requirements:

HVAC / PLC Controls with speciality in Trend BMS / PLC systems, be conversant with writing software using SET etc. TCP/IP - BACNET / modbus communications.
Experience of Trend / Honeywell software etc
Trend Head End setting up of IQ Vision / Niagara platform experience.
Communications networking experience
Must be able to use control panel drawing package EPlan P8 with Pro Panel & Process wire modules
Must be PC literate. with skills in windows applications ie, Word, Excel and use of Outlook
Have project skills - able to handle the financial aspect, responsible for the profit and loss of each project.
Able to communicate and work within a team and communicate to all peers.
Occasionally assist in on site commissioning.
To be generally office based with occasional visits to construction sites for project meetings.
Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely with fellow peers

As Project Engineer following electrical knowledge/skills would be advantageous:

Electrical knowledge of 400v systems - 3 phase 400v motors/ 1 phase motors, different motor starting techniques ie DOL,ASD, Frequency Inverter control.
Be able to design motor control centres' / control panels Form 2 - Form 4 to IEC(phone number removed) Part 1 standards.

This may suit a commissioning engineer wishing to progress into project engineering /

junior engineer will be considered.

Also, anyone from the process industry with experience of PLC controls, control

panel design and network communication knowledge of current standards ie

ethernet/IP, modbus RTU, profibus will be considered.
