Carpenter - £40k - South

Our client is a well-known Construction & Refurbishment company who are looking to recruit a Carpenter / Joiner to carry out Remedial works & Maintenance work on Commercial Properties across the Southern region.

Purpose of the role:
To Carry out Remedial works & Maintenance tasks across the portfolio, to include Local Authority & Commercial Offices.

Main tasks & duties will include:

• General refurbishment carpentry work

• Hanging internal doors & fire Doors.
• Re-fixing door frames
• Mending window frames
• Repairing & mending broken floorboards & flooring

Working hours are Monday to Friday 40 hours per week with overtime available

You will need the following Qualifications / Certificates:

• Carpentry City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 training or equivalent
• Valid CSCS card
• Asbestos Awareness certificate
• If you have additional certificates such as IPAF, PASMA this will be advantageous but is not essential.

Benefits: Salary to £40k, Van & Fuel card, you will be expected to have your own basic hand tools as well as basic PPE. Other benefits to be discussed at Interview
