Choralis Consulting have instructions to recruit a Senior Management AccountantThe Company: Is a leading international multi-channel retailer, founded 25 years ago. The group generate revenues in access of £400m and employs a workforce of 3000. With over 1200 sites globally, the UK companies operate from over 200 outlets and manufacturing sites which serves some of the UK's leading corporates in their sector.The role: will be to assist with the preparation and presentation of the Retail gross profit reporting. Preparing accurate monthly balance sheet reconciliations, insightful analysis and identifying areas where the business can improve performance. They will assist in Budget and forecast preparation as well as setting performance targets for operating units. Assisting in the preparation of month end including:- accruals and prepayments, site by site reviews explaining variances to budget with a focus on cost of sales, (both materials and labour).Balance sheet reconciliations to be prepared and reviewed on a monthly basis.Ensuring accurate accounting of retail Franchise partners and retail income statements.Daily cashflow updates and weekly bank reconciliations, invoicing and reconciliation and other ad hoc duties as required.Investigating and providing thorough commentary when analysing variances using strong excel skills. Rolling cash flow forecasts, daily cash management, group consolidation, inventory and stock management will all be part of this exciting role.The person: Well presented, confident and out going - graduate, finalist/qualified ACCA/CIMA ideally with a supply chain, retail or multi-site experience. A strong communicator, comfortable challenging how things are done. You will have an eye for detail, strong problem solving skills and adopt best practices and processes at all times. Thorough, inquisitive and results driven.The role has home/work arrangements.
