Locum Civil Litigation Lawyer – Full Time or 4 days – Predominantly Remote Working – 3 months initially - up to £55 per hour Umbrella – East AngliaPosition: Locum Civil Litigation LawyerOrganisation: East Anglia based Local AuthorityDuration: 3 months +Working Hours: Full Time but will consider 4 days per weekWorking Arrangement: Predominantly Remote Working with Court Attendance when requiredHourly Rate: Up to £55 per hour UmbrellaThe ideal candidate will have prior experience working within a Local Authority and will have a broad working understanding of civil litigation law to deal with a varied caseload.You will be managing a diverse caseload of Civil Litigation matters to include but not limited to Housing matters including homelessness, Debt Recovery, judicial reviews and potentially be able to cover advocacy for SJP prosecution matters in the Magistrates (Non-school attendance, fly tipping etc), and general litigation advice across service areas on behalf of the Council.
