Pin Point Recruitment are looking for a Trade Counter Assistant & Delivery Driver for a building merchants based in Gloucester.

As the Trade Counter Assistant & Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for assisting customers at the trade counter, providing expert advice, and handling product sales, while also managing local deliveries in a timely and professional manner.

Trade Counter Assistant & Delivery Driver Job Role:

* Greet and assist customers in-person at the trade counter with product inquiries, order placement, and recommendations.

* Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a positive and professional experience for all customers.

* Process sales transactions, including cash, credit, and card payments.

* Maintain product displays and promotional materials to create an attractive and efficient sales environment.

* Advise customers on product availability, features, and specifications.

* Ensure the trade counter area is kept clean, tidy, and well-organised.

* Load and unload goods from the delivery vehicle, ensuring products are secured for safe transport.

* Deliver products to customers within a designated area, adhering to delivery schedules and routes.

* Maintain accurate delivery logs and ensure that deliveries are confirmed by customer signature.

* Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any customer queries or concerns professionally.

* Inspect the delivery vehicle regularly to ensure it is clean, well-maintained, and operational.

* Ensure safe driving practices, following all traffic laws and safety protocols while on the road.

Trade Counter Assistant & Delivery Driver Working Hour:

* Full-time - Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:30pm and alternate Saturdays 8am to 12pm.

Trade Counter Assistant & Delivery Driver Skills Required:

* Previous experience in retail, customer service, or trade counter environments is preferred.

* Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanour.

* Good organisational skills to ensure that both trade counter and delivery duties are carried out effectively.

* Basic knowledge of our product range or the ability to quickly learn.

* Experience with delivery driving is a plus.
