Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Specialist - Digitization and Programming SSA to drive digital transformation initiatives across the Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA) region. This role is responsible for developing and implementing digital strategies, managing digitalization projects, and fostering innovation to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Digital Strategy and Planning
- Develop and implement digital transformation strategies aligned with global objectives.
- Program digital solutions based on business requirements.
- Conduct market analysis and assess digital trends to identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure alignment of digital initiatives with business goals.
- Project Management
- Lead and manage digitalization projects from conception to completion, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
- Develop project plans, set milestones, and monitor progress to ensure successful implementation.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, operations, and finance.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement
- Promote the adoption of new technologies and digital tools to drive innovation.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
- Stay updated on emerging digital trends and technologies.
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Engage with senior management, regional teams, and external partners to drive digital initiatives.
- Communicate project status, challenges, and successes to stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external vendors and technology partners.
- Change Management
- Develop and implement change management strategies for smooth adoption of digital initiatives.
- Conduct training sessions to educate employees on new digital tools and processes.
- Address resistance to change and provide support to teams during digital transitions.
- Data Analytics and Insights
- Utilize data analytics to monitor and measure the impact of digital initiatives.
- Generate reports and insights to support data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure data integrity and security in all digital projects.
- Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and organizational policies in all digital initiatives.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to digital projects, including cybersecurity threats and data privacy concerns.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) or digital transformation are desirable.
- Programming qualification required.
