Role - Stores/Warehouse Assistant

Salary - £25,000 - £33,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Type - Permanent

Location - Swindon

My client manufactures bespoke machinery for a variety of sectors. They are looking for a Warehouse Assistant to join their team in Swindon on a permanent basis.

The Stores/Warehouse Assistant will ideally have the following attributes:

Experienced working in a Warehouse / Stores environment
Must have counterbalance experience
Forklift experience would also be beneficial but not required
Knowledge of MS Office packages and strong computer skills
Excellent organisation
Knowledge of handling/shipping/storing dangerous goodsThe Stores/Warehouse Assistant role will involve:

Managing stock levels
Booking in parts and purchase orders
Basic inspection of parts to confirm finish (training can be provided)
Manual handling of goods/parts
Picking jobs from BOMs list
Controlling the stores area
