We are seeking a dedicated Yard Person to join our team in Rayleigh. This role involves unloading lorries and managing the yard efficiently. A full UK driving licence is essential for this position.
Day-to-day of the role: - Unloading materials from delivery lorries and organising them within the yard.
- Ensuring the yard is kept tidy and safe for all staff and visitors.
- Operating handling equipment and vehicles safely and responsibly.
- Assisting with inventory checks and maintaining records of incoming and outgoing materials.
- Coordinating with the logistics and warehouse teams to optimise space and efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Full UK driving licence is essential.
- Experience in a similar role would be advantageous but not essential.
- Good physical fitness, as the role involves manual handling.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a yard or warehouse environment.
