A great opportunity for a Product Developer to join a growing online retailer & B2B business in the Leeds area. They provide high quality apparel to their customers. Due to growth they are seeking another Product Developer to join the business.

Description

Liaising with UK based and offshore suppliers-factories.
Advising on fit, costings, size charts, quality control, fabrics, and grading.
Organising red and gold seals from initial design stage of samples.
Quality control of embroidery of logos as well as colour matching and dye to match threads.
Attending weekly meetings with other departments including, merchandisers, buyers, school relation team and customer services.
Completing weekly fit sessions of new products and correct QA forms advising on improvements.
Forming close relationships with suppliers with factory visits, online and in person meetings
Producing technical flats (CADs) on adobe illustrator.
Producing size guides to add to the website, as well as quality checking bulk orders and organising samples for bulk production.

Profile

In-depth knowledge of apparel garment construction and the development process.
Excellent communication skills.
Capacity to multi-task and prioritize accordingly.
Team Player
Highly organised, methodical and process-driven.
Passion for delivering consistently high standards in all projects executed.
Must have experience dealing with offshore suppliers/manufacturers and a solid understanding of a critical path.
Attention to detail.
