Description

  • Managing tax compliance and planning for a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Advising clients on tax-related issues and strategies to minimise their tax liabilities.
  • Reviewing tax returns prepared by junior staff members.
  • Identifying potential tax planning opportunities for clients.
  • Keeping up to date with tax legislation and case law.
  • Building strong relationships with clients and understanding their business needs.
  • Contributing to team meetings and development sessions.
  • Supporting the Tax Manager in business development activities.

Profile

A successful Corporate Tax Assistant Manager should have:

  • A strong academic background, preferably in Tax, Finance, Accounting or a related field.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA or CTA.
  • Experience in a similar role within a professional services firm.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Experience in managing a diverse portfolio of clients.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • An up-to-date understanding of tax legislation and case law.
