Senior Software Engineer – 6-Month Contract – Hybrid – Hampshire

VIQU have partnered with a global retailer who are seeking a Senior Software Engineer for a short-term contract.  

The successful Senior Software Engineer will be supporting on a migration project to AWS Lambda from Azure and will need to have experience working on Lambda pipelines.

This role will encompass the full SDLC from initial solution, development, code reviews, documentation, go live and troubleshooting.

Key skills & responsibilities for the Senior Software Engineer:

• Strong experience in PHP development with Laravel
• Experience with Node JS
• Experience with TypeScript
• Solid experience with AWS Lambda – setup and coding of Lambda pipelines
• Experience with another development language out of Python, Java, JavaScript, Purl
• Following TDD / Unit Testing
• MySQL / NoSQL databases, MongoDB, MariaDB or Couchbase would be beneficial
• E-Commerce platform experience or similar industry background would be beneficial

• Job role: Senior Software Engineer
• Job type: Contract
• Duration: 6 months’ initial contract
• Rate: £400 - £500 per day  
• IR35 status: Inside IR35
• Location: Hybrid – Hampshire
