Position: European Operations Manager - Freight Forwarding

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 (Negotiable) + Branch Bonus & Incentives + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays

Your mission:

🚛 Operations Guru - Oversee the full freight forwarding cycle, from quoting to implementation and process management, ensuring everything runs like a well-oiled machine.
📈 Sales & Growth Partner - Support the MD with retaining key clients, helping the new biz team win accounts, and adding commercial value.
👥 Customer Champion - Be the go-to person for "House Accounts," keeping clients happy and resolving queries like a pro.
🏆 Team Leader Extraordinaire - Manage, mentor, and motivate a team, guiding them through change with professionalism and adaptability.
🔍 Efficiency Expert - Identify weaknesses, improve processes, and ensure we're always at the top of our game.
🎯 Service Superhero - Maintain the highest service standards and continuously seek ways to elevate performance.

What you bring to the table:

✅ 5+ years' experience in European road freight operations - you know your customs docs, import/export procedures, and logistics inside out.
✅ Leadership & communication skills - you can inspire, guide, and rally your team like a true leader.
