Assembler Operator

Based in Lane End, High Wycombe

Permanent, Full-time, Monday - Friday 39 hours

25 Annual Leave + UK Bank Holidays (with option to buy/sell!), Pension Scheme, Private Medical Insurance, Access to a Private GP

If so, we have a fantastic opportunity to join our leading, well respected water technologies company, where you will play a pivotal role in working as part of a team within the ELGA production facility. You will be assembling tech products and consumables to the agreed quality and timeline parameters that have been set. Brief responsibilities of an Assembler Operator are:
  • Ensure all allocated assembly tasks are completed within the timeframe set and to the expected quality standards.
  • Conduct all tasks professionally and operate within recognised Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Uphold and maintain ELGA ISO quality standards and procedures which affect their area(s) of working.
  • Support continuous improvement techniques/initiatives within the operational area.
  • Support and maintain an effective 5S policy within area(s) of working.
  • Adhere to good working relationships with all operational and quality personnel.

Please note, full training will be provided.

General requirements for the role:
  • Maths and English - GCSE (or equivalent) grades A-C.
  • Recognised Manufacturing/Production assembly qualification or "On-The-Job" training/experience.
  • Good understanding of manufacturing principles.
  • Ability to operate well under quality/time productivity and utilisation performance management.
  • Adept at tech (electro-mechanical) assembly processes and routine, demonstrate dexterity and attention to detail as required.
  • Good understanding of recognised Health and Safety practices.
  • Ability to work in a cohesive motivated team.
  • Maintain a quality focus at all times.
  • Excellent numeracy, literacy skills.
  • Disciplined and organised approach to tasks with the ability to prioritise.
  • Flexible and innovative approach to problem solving.
  • Good IT skills in all MS Office packages, particularly Excel. Experience of Google suite would be an advantage.
