Our client, a prominent provider in the construction industry, is currently seeking a Supervisor to start work on a HS2 project in Aylesbury. This is a contract role with an anticipated start date around 21st October 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise construction-related projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
Coordinate daily activities of blue-collar workers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely
Ensure all equipment and materials are used effectively and maintained properly
Identify and mitigate potential safety hazards on site
Maintain accurate records of work performed, resources used, and time management
Communicate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders

Job Requirements:

SSSTS is essential
SEQOHS Medical is essential
EKFB Induction is advantageous
Strong understanding of construction regulations and safety standards
Proven ability to supervise on projects and coordinate teams effectively
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently and make informed decisions
