Astute's Renewables team is partnering with a successful renewable energy provider who cover Commercial, Industrial and some Utility scale Solar projects, to recruit a Solar Operations and Maintenance Engineer for their main office based down in South Somerset.

The crucial position of a Solar Operations and Maintenance Engineer role comes with a salary of up to £40,000, company pension and private health insurance.

Responsibilities and duties

Reporting to the line manager you will:

Be responsible for the performance of solar sites and ensuring it is optimised
Perform planned and un-planned maintenance of sites
Communicate and organise teams internally and externally
Be involved in providing training and mentoring to junior staff members

Professional qualifications

We are looking for someone with the following:

Experience in Commercial, Industrial or Utility Scale solar is desirable
City and Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Electrical Installation
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
A full UK Driving License

Personal skills

The Operations and Maintenance Engineer role would suit someone who is:
