Job Description

Our Kitchen Porters play an integral part in ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of the catering operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure the all areas of the kitchens and service areas on all floors are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness.
  • To work in all areas of the kitchen according to the weekly rota.
  • To maintain all catering storage areas, ensuring they are always organised and clean.
  • To ensure all Health, Hygiene and Safety requirements are being adhered to.
  • To receive, count, inspect and store goods and equipment
  • To be involved with some food preparation and service as required

Salary: £23,981 (£12.49 per hour) / Full time 48 weeks / 5 days over 7 - 40 hours per week

  • Ideally have experience working within Education catering
  • Have good Health & Safety knowledge
