Exciting Permanent Opportunity for a Teaching Assistant - Witney in Key Stage 2 (Year 5). Witney.

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a lovely Primary School - situated in Witney, who are seeking a skilled and experienced Teaching Assistant - Witney (TA) to join their team from February half term on a permanent basis.

This is a long-term supply position for two roles within the school (Teaching Assistant - Witney and Midday Supervisor). The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive, adaptable approach and a passion for supporting children's learning and wellbeing.

Teaching Assistant - Witney Role:

• Qualified Teaching Assistant - Witney: 35 hours
• Total Weekly Hours:26 hours and 15 minutes
• Working Days:Monday to Friday (term time only)
• Curriculum Area:Key Stage 2, supporting a Year 5 class
• Location:Witney

Requirements

We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

• Qualifications: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant - Witney qualification (preferred)
• Skills: Strong English and Maths skills (GCSE grade C/4)
• Experience: Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant - Witney is essential for the higher level SEN children.
• Creativity: Ability to contribute innovative ideas to the classroom
• Behaviour Management: Proven skills in managing behaviour effectively
• Flexibility: Prepared to cover the class in the teacher's absence and support other areas in emergencies
• Checks: Full DBS clearance and a UK National Insurance number
• Location:Able to commute to Witney
